I am yes and no but mostly yes.
I look for the good and beauty in people (and ideas) even when the bad in them is quite large and ugly.
I view the world scientifically, the data is the data, even when it doesn't support what you believe. If something works, it works, even if you think it shouldn't.
Ideas need to be tested and thrown away if they fail the test. But if they pass, they need to be grown and improved.
I see every day as an opportunity to smell the roses, talk with someone new, walk down a different path and watch a spectacular sunset.
Living is always better than dying.
